At Rootless Plants, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our luxury faux trees. Every tree is thoughtfully designed to deliver long-lasting beauty and elevate your indoor space. We want you to feel confident in your purchase, which is why we offer a 3-Year Limited Warranty on all regularly priced and sale faux trees. 

Inspect Upon Arrival 

Please inspect your tree upon receipt and notify us right away if you notice any damage or defect. Our team is here to assist with a quick and fair resolution. Do not attempt to repair the tree yourself or follow any instructions not provided by our Customer Loyalty Specialist, as this may void the warranty. 

 

Proper Faux Tree Care 

To maintain your tree’s beauty and extend its life: 

• Keep it indoors and away from direct sunlight 

• Dust regularly with a microfiber cloth or soft vacuum brush 

• Wipe with a damp cloth when deeper cleaning is needed—avoid soaking or using harsh chemicals 

• Store in a cool, dry place when not in use 

• Never expose the tree to outdoor conditions or high humidity 

 

What the Warranty Covers 

The Rootless Plants 3-Year Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal indoor residential use, including: 

• Structural failure of trunks or branches 

• Material flaws in foliage or trunk finishes 

• Defects in craftsmanship or design that affect the tree’s shape, structure, or stability 

• Issues with the included planter (if applicable) 

 

What the Warranty Does Not Cover 

This warranty does not cover damage caused by conditions outside normal use, including but not limited to: 

• Normal wear and tear (e.g., fading from sunlight, dust accumulation) 

• Accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorized modifications 

• Use in commercial, outdoor, or high-humidity environments (e.g., patios, bathrooms) 

• Improper installation, cleaning, or storage 

• Cosmetic variations inherent to handcrafted or natural-look products 

 

❌ Specifically Not Covered 

The following scenarios fall outside the scope of the Rootless Plants Warranty: 

1. Outdoor Exposure 
   Placement in outdoor settings, including balconies, uncovered patios, or areas exposed to wind, rain, or direct sunlight. 

2. High-Humidity Environments 
   Use in bathrooms, indoor pool, humid basements, or other moisture-prone spaces. 

3. UV-Related Yellowing 
   Discoloration, fading, or yellowing due to prolonged sun exposure—especially near south-facing windows or skylights. 

4. Improper Handling or Storage 
   Damage caused by forcing branches, storing in tight/unprotected spaces, or exposing the tree to extreme temperatures (e.g., in attics or garages). 

5. Accidental Damage or Unauthorized Modifications 
   Wear from pets or children, or damage caused by cutting, gluing, painting, or applying cleaning chemicals to the tree. 

 

How to File a Warranty Claim 

To file a warranty claim, please email our team at info@RootlessPlants.com with the following: 

• Proof of purchase 

• Clear photos of the issue 

• A brief description of the problem 

If your claim is approved, we’ll offer one of the following remedies at our discretion: 

• A full replacement of the item 

• A replacement part (e.g., planter) 

• A repair solution 

• A credit if a replacement is unavailable 

 

Return or Donation Option 

We’re happy to assist with donation to a local nonprofit or community organization. In some cases, you may still qualify for a credit or refund under our extended care policy. 

 

Warranty Period and Eligibility 

The 3-Year Limited Warranty is valid from the original date of delivery and applies to the original purchaser only. It is non-transferable and applies solely to purchases made and used within the United States.

Legal Disclaimer 

If you submit a valid claim during the warranty period, Rootless Plants will, at its option: 

• Replace the tree with a similar or equivalent style 

• Issue a credit if repair or replacement is not possible 

Please note: Due to the seasonal nature of some of our products, availability may vary throughout the year. We’ll work closely with you to find a timely and fair solution. 

This warranty is void for products used outside the United States. While we reserve the right to modify or discontinue this warranty in the future, any changes will not be retroactive. 

 

Limitation of Liability 

The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies under this warranty. Rootless Plants’s liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the defective product. We are not liable for any incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, whether direct or indirect. 

Some states do not allow limitations on incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you. In any case, our warranties are limited to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law.
